All inquiries are welcome!
Architects, Designers, General Contractors, Custom Home Builders,
Glass Fabricators, Custom Woodcrafters are welcome and encouraged to inquire. My modern and efficient glass etching methods offer timely and cost effective etched glass solutions for your clients.
Art development can proceed from a single sketch, specific type of art,
or a set general design considerations.
A wide variety of elements are available from my in-house image archive,
to create a truly unique design,
or archives of prepared designs for immediate selection.
All finished artwork is retained and available for replacement or duplication.
My Custom Etched Glass Art service utilizes digital graphic capabilities for preparation of the sandblast resistant mask. All artwork is finally converted to a digital format, suitable for creating the sandblasting mask. This approach allows for a flexible design revision and proofing process for final art approval. Computer controlled equipment accurately cuts an exact duplicate of the approved design(s) on sandblast resistant mask material, ready to apply on the glass.
I have In-House AND On-Site glass etching services although it is preferable to provide services from within my shop whenever possible. Projects requiring large area or full frosting treatment are only performed In-House within the Pinckney, Michigan shop.
Assembled doors, windows, and framed glass panels are etched WITHOUT removing the glass.
On-Site services provide portable sandblasting equipment directly to your commercial or residential setting. This service is efficient, convenient, and cost effective and available to provide etched graphics, logos, borders, etc., for a reception area, entrance doors, glass room dividers, large mirrors, shower enclosures, and many other locations in your home, office or business. On Site service is also provided when it is not practical to transport the project to my shop. The expense and inconvenience of removing or replacing existing glass, or transporting a large glass piece is eliminated. Environmental impact and protection considerations with the On-Site equipment are very minimal, since the self- contained etching unit filters the blasting dust
and recovers the sandblasting abrasive as it is continuously recycled.
Estimates & Fees
Fees are arrived by considering the artwork preparation, complexity and size of the design, type of glass, total pieces, glass size(s) required, and the delivery timeline. I will provide timely estimates and discuss with you where savings or expenses are incurred to assist with your decisions.
